Garrett, one afternoon, dismal afternoon as it was, walked on through the local park, even considering the weather, there were still many families out, with there children, his brown eyes with specks of grey, scanned the area, he continued to walk, head strong and fast, his stomach growled, in hunger, having such a fast metabolisum did not favour anything, there was a hot dog stand ahead he grabbed one and flicked a coin to the complaining man at the stand, obviously Garrett had short changed him, none the less he walked and bite into the hotdog, after a moment of champing his lips together, he nodded stasified at the taste, although some vauge part of him hungered for the taste of human blood, yet that part seeminingly had vanished, replaced by a human form, one he loathed.

Allie took a deep breath as she felt the cool air slide down her throat. She didn’t know why she had come back to the park...maybe it was just a nice get away or something. She ran a hand through her hair and felt a slight breeze in the air blow by. Just then she caught a familiar scent...not familiar as in she knew the person but familiar as in she knew whoever it was wasn’t human. For once was there someone else like her actually here? So far, ever since she moved her, she hadn’t met any other vampires. Maybe this was her lucky day. She hesitated wondering if she should follow the scent or not. So she decided to wander around a bit, but it seemed every step she took she got closer and closer to the unknown vampire. She wasn’t even sure if she should associate herself with this vampire because for all she knew he could be an enemy or just someone she shouldn’t be involved with. She glanced around at all the humans, luckily she had just had a meal so she wasn’t too thirsty. Finally she stopped dead as she realized the vampire scent was right in front of her….she didn’t even mean to get any closer but apparently she had. She glanced over to see a boy standing…eating something? She knew the scent came from him and she wondered if he noticed her too…If you were a vampire you could pretty much tell if other vampires are around. So she wouldn’t be too surprised if he could smell her. She still was unsure whether to speak to him or not…Was he good? Nice? Bad? Mean? She didn’t know and she couldn’t tell what to do at the moment.

Garrett had just finished of his hotdog, it was plain, and pretty dry, but edabile all the same, he continued to walk on through the park, when he stopped suddenly the sense of being watched, and followed flowed through him, although his sense of smell not human, was not quite as keen, he could of course still smell, he raised his head a fraction, and smelt the air, there. linguring the scent of something familuar, although not famiular, his nose twitched at faint recgonistion(sp) he turned at that moment as swfitly as his human boady let him, his eyes greeted with a female, pratically behind him, he rasied his eyebrows questioningly, comapred in diffrence there was something diffrent to this vampire-now human that caught his attention, it was in the presentation and look alltogether, she wasn't one who had drank from human "Ah, Vegetarian?" he asked simply, others wouldn't know quite what he was reffering to other then non-animal eating.

Allie watched as he turned around and finally spotted her. It wasn’t hard to tell a vampire from a human, which is why they could easily tell what each other really was. Human’s though…they just walked by like nothing. They couldn’t tell what was what around here. Although human senses are not as strong as a vampires. She gently tilted her head to the side and smirked as he spoke about her being a vegetarian; “Is it that obvious?” By the way he looked and acted he seemed the type to be an original vampire…one that would drink from human’s and not animals. “Well…I’m guessing you’re a normal one… who chooses humans?” She hoped he knew what she meant though he probably did. She smiled a friendly smile, still unsure what to think of the boy. She raised her hand and brushed the hair away from her face so that it wouldn’t keep falling in the way. She didn’t move…she kept completely still but only because that was instinct. Normally when a vampire met another vampire that they didn’t know, they acted defensive or just kept their ground. At least neither of them were hissing at each other like maniacs.

Garrett shruged causally "Not that obvious, just a hunch" he smirked in return, the girl wasn't a threat at least, it was a threat however when it came to orginal vampire vs orginal vampire, orginals tended to be very territorial, unless they found there mate that was, so far, alas Garrett had yet to find that, not that he was looking. he folded his arms casually across his chest, he wore a black shirt, accompanied over the top by his favorite leather jacket, black trousers and black shoes' given the whole lood of 'bad boy' yet it was his favorite wear, and it fitted his still muscular form perfectly, although he himself wasn't as perfect anymore, "I see the 'change' or whatever you want to call it has affected you too" he mused with a simple nod "sucks to be us" he then grinned but charmingly at that, he held out his hand towards the woman in a simple gesture "Garrett Gauntier, at your service" he chuckled and bowed his head a fraction

Allie smiled as he said it was just a hunch. “Ah…I see” She relaxed a bit as she realized he wasn’t the type of vampire to be mean or crazy at that…Some even attacked even if all you were doing was introducing yourself. All vampires were different in their own way…nice or not. Then he spoke about ‘the change’…It was something that every vampire had to deal with…nothing you could escape. She lightly laughed; “humm...Yes it does suck to be us. What sucks more is not having anyone to talk to about it” She kept a smile on her face then saw him hold out his hand as he introduced himself. She lifted her hand and gently took his making a small shake. Then couldn’t help but laugh as he bowed after his name. “Allie Rayne Brendan” She chimed in, her voice sounded soft and angelic. Though things like that happened when you change… “It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr. Gauntier” She smiled then took her hand away. Her blue eyes gazed around at a couple of humans who were staring at them. Ah humans will be humans. Allie had on jeans…Just normal jeans, nothing special. But to top it off she had a cute new blue shirt and a white sweater over it. She looked quiet different compared to him. He was all in black yet she had brighter colors on.

"Ah so very true" he grinned, his eyes danced briefly with amusement "Each to all ther own" he chuckled and shook her hand in return it was odd to feel warmth comapred to the usual sensation "Hm, I have to say, that it plays havoc on my sanity" he mused further "and truth be told Human food ain't all that bad" he winked playfully "A pleasure to meet you too, and might I say you have a wonderful name" he smiled once again a slanted smile, with a dissmissive wave of the hand he added "Please call me Garrett" he then briefly glanced around, at the on lookers even in human form he wasn't at all self-conscience, instead he waved with a grin to the humans, who soon swiftly moved on, he chuckled "ah you even love em' or hate em'"

Allie smiled…It felt nice to finally have someone else of her kind to talk to. Rather than humans who would either think she was weird or just stare at her because for some reason she didn’t look right to them. Maybe the paleness in skin or the odd blue eyes she had. She laughed at what he said… “Ah…Yes I know that human food is probably much better than what I get…But still…Being a vegetable isn’t so bad” She laughed at her bad joke. But hey, At least she had a sense of humor and it seemed he did too. “Oh! Why thank you…I must say your name is quiet brilliant too” She didn’t get complements at all so it was weird to have him complement her name. Of course she wasn’t going to complain…it was nice to have complements. She then nodded; “Aright…Garrett” She smiled…most people did like to be called by there first name. Like her, she liked to be called by Allie and nothing else…well sometimes she liked to be called her middle name; Rayne. But normally only family or close friends ever called her that. She glanced over at the humans he was looking at then laughed; “Hum I agree with you on that…Humans are so…Confusing at times.”

He smiled the gestured ahead "care for a walk, darlin' "he chuckled with a friendly nudge and yet another wink, he was so very much at ease with all people, he had many pet names he called people, often pet even at some times it was mearely a show of acknowledgement and a friendly comment, then he laughed at her comment on food based "Have you not eaten Human food since being changed?" he asked curiously, "I can't say it's brialliant but at least it doesn't taste like dirt, Personally, i'd rather of remained Vampire, but" he shrugged "you coan't complain, you get what you get, beggers can't be choosers" he grinned and shrugged in acknowledment to her thanks "welcome" he smiled and continued to walk, offering her his arm, as he dug his hand in the pockets on his trousers, "yeah, there prettly boring actually, they don't do much unless confronted with something scary" he laughed "hell, one litrally, screamed like a girl, he being male" he chuckled "most amusing" with his free hand he scratched his right eyebrow briefly, remembering that.

She smiled and nodded; “Why of course! A walk sounds wonderful on the beautiful day” She laughed as she glanced up at the sky…It had grey clouds all over with no sun what so ever…But to her the day was perfect. At least she didn’t have to hide from the sun. She looked back over at him then shrugged; “Well…Not exactly…see I think it smells dreadful so I never want to eat it. The only thing I have ever tried and liked was chocolate. Probably the only human food I’ll ever eat.” She smiled and lightly laughed. She walked by his side then saw him offer her his arm. She smiled and gladly took it. He seemed nice and a gentleman so far. Well it was about time she met another vampire! She then laughed as he spoke about a human man screaming like a girl. “ah…Yes they are a weird creature” She smiled then added; “But look who’s talking! Were quiet weird ourselves” She shrugged; “My sister’s best friend is a werewolf…Isnt that odd!? Course she isn’t a vampire…”

he laughed "certainly" he smiled and continued to walk and a well mannored pace beside Allie "depnds what your used to i supose" he laughed again "honestly it's not that bad" he grinned "you should try it, its still edibale, and as we are currently human, we need to eat, which pretty much sucks, if I was to grab a human and the blood, I would probably be considered a cannabal" he mused "and I bet the blood would taste like dirt now, can't really win" he shrugged and looked to her with a smile as he continued to walk, the woman wasn't to bad, she had a sense of humour which was very rare in woman at any rate, and she wasn't at all bad looking, perhaps it was a lucky day? "I would say they are the creatures not us, most smell too" he wrinkled his nose "even in human form, surely you'd think they'd wash" he chuckled then rasied his eyebrows "Ah, yes very bizarr, i'm surprised she can't even smell the dog"

She made a slight nod then sighed; “I suppose I should get used to all this human food…It’s just so…odd for me” She lightly smiled as he spoke about being a cannibal…She hadn’t realized how different things were without needing blood. Being human was difficult…not even fun. She missed racing around and jumped from place to place. She laughed again as he mentioned how humans smell; “Well now if they smell then we must too right? Since we are human now…” She smirked as she looked at him. He seemed really nice and funny…and pretty good-looking. She felt glad to actually have someone else to talk to about everything. “Yes bizarre it is that my sister was friend with such a creature that smells…but I guess it doesn’t matter anymore since the change” She shrugged then glanced up at the sky… “So…I’ve never seen you around, are you new?” It was true, she had never seen him around…she didn’t even think other ‘vampires’ were really near by but maybe they were and she was just clueless.

He nodded listening as they walked "It's not that bad, in all honestly, some of it does taste extreamly.." he made a face of disgust "well, I won't use the selected cuss I had in mind" he grinned to her as they continued to walk, his eyes scanned the area for the scenery, "Well it depends if we shower" he grinned wickidly and laughed after "plenty of deoderant, and showers we should smell as pretty as a buch of flowers- urgh" he wrinkled his nose at the thought "Well actually not like flowers but you get the drift" he smiled lightly "hm" he shrugged "depends on if she can smell or not?" he mused "although not smelling sure sucks" he added "In the actual sense smell thing" he chuckled and rolled his eyes he looked to her briefly "yes and no, I'm a no-mad, I come and go stay or leave, all that stuff, Ionly arrived in town this mornign really, you wou'dn't happen to know any decent hotels would you?"
