Celebrity: Becky Lou Filip
Appearance: Kate is on the short side of the average standard of height for young women, the small frame some how managing to help her skinny build seem more tolerable. Holding pale features tends to sometimes attract some attention, for the ability to bruise easily happens to be a fault in such a faint toning. Although flawless, the tiniest flick can cause the smallest tinge of proof that something had touched her there. She has elegant natural curls which trail a somewhat lower than her shoulders, varying in length depending on the tightness of the curls within that moment of time. The darker coloring of her hair clashes against her physical features which enhances the phrase pretty toward her. Along with this she tends to have her bangs dusted messily to the side, sometimes allowing them to drift in whatever way they intend to fall. Her face holds a certain oval shaping to it, helping to shape out one of her best features - her eyes. Her eyes are a glistening bright blue in color, sometimes deepening depending on the surrounding lighting of the area. Her nose seems almost angled perfectly for her face, defined cheek bones helping to set such features into place. Her smile often seems to show the shy side of her personality, for although it is wide (fulfilled with the set of dimples), it sometimes seems faintly mysterious being hidden behind those gentle plump lips. Kate often tends to stick with bright colored clothing and makeup, constantly wanting to have a bright aura in her daily go abouts.
Personality: Kate is known as a more quiet person, more thoughtful than outwardly spoken. Her curiosity within her personality often can get her into situations she'd often wish to avoid. Being quiet, tends to have its negative effects in cases such as being unable to speak openly with others and avoiding eye contact. Of course, when she eventually warms up to a person, her mood tends to lift to a more brighter swing; her speaking becomes more confident along with her motives. Of course the warming up of a person takes some time with Kate, seeing as she often trusts the wrong people and this leads to the lowering of her personal self confidence and self esteem. By such terms, she now takes longer to open up to a person afraid they'll betray her trust like those previous within her life.
She is nearly constantly a peaceful person, never liking to be involved within arguments. Her clumsy attitude often tends to blend with her curiosity hence the situations. But, negative personality attributes are shocking ones to her overall peaceful and shy nature. When angered, she tends to shout beyond the heaven's reaches, determined to show her points of belief within a situation. Of course these outbursts are rare but have happened their fair number of times within the sixteen years of her life. Another negative point is that she can be easily distracted and lead along with false information due to her gullible tenancies of believing and such. With an overdosed amount of innocence, Kate's personality is mostly within the caring and gentle era.
History: On a sweltering day in upon the first day of August, the Twinstean family was greeted with the birth of their first child - Kate. At exactly 12:03am, Kate was born, giggling and not crying. This shocked most doctors and her parents, but brought only more joy to the situation. At that time, Roger and Allison had both only just settled from the small adventurous of traveling as a young couple. Upon knowing they where expecting their first child, they decided to settle in a small society that they found was perfect in La Push. Being near to the beach was a necessity, for Allison had always adored the concept of art.
So, life progressed pretty good for the family. Kate's hair grew quickly, the mop of brunette curls always making her chubby feature seem even more adorable to those who saw. her. Her eyes would always show a constant glint of joy when she'd squeal out loud passionately each day. Roger found her to be his pride and joy, but was soon often at work as he'd finally managed to set up his own Mechanic store just on the outside of town. This was when Kate had reached the fabulous age of two. At this point, everything in the Twinstean life seemed to stand up and set off.
At the age of four, Kate's fear of sheep was inflicted. This was a simple story that began when her Mother decided to take her up to a nearby mountain range. The name was forgotten over the years, but Allison had always adored it for its over powering beauty. It was indeed the best place for her to paint - seeing as she was then taking this as her occupation. Kate had fond interest in all the creatures there, one obviously being sheep. Being only over curious, Kate had skipped over toward the cloud like creatures, happily patting one. The instant sadly ended with her petite form being chased down the mountain range by an irritated sheep...and this concluded with the poor girl being butted in the back and sent down the remainder of the hill. Luckily, she only suffered from a minor concussion, and despite her Mother's kind and helpful words, Kate grew to resent the creatures.
Once moving into the schooling era, it was soon easy to see that Kate's passion for the arts easily matched her Mother's. Although she passed with excellent marks in subjects such as Maths and Science, she'd always get that little bit extra in classes such as Art and Dance. Although, such things wouldn't worry her - for she was often absorbed within her own creative thoughts, doodles or even a book. Kate had took to a book called Alice in Wonderland, seeing as it was the first book that she ever received with over one hundred pages. That was given to her at the age of six, and she would read it every day. Even as she grew older, she could still quote from that book daily - without giving it a second thought. Despite school, her personality had grown to be known as one that you'd love to be in the presence of. She was always friendly to others, her smile constantly addictive. Kate had fortunately gained her Father's attractive dimples - this gaining her even more attention from other people as she grew up in the society of La Push.
Although, she didn't really get to be known by people due to her extremely shy nature. Often, people would introduce themselves, only to forget her a day later. It was strange, for her eyes or smile would often be remembered for years to come...but her name forgotten. This often got Kate down, even from a very young age.
As she progressed to the age of eight and upward, Kate was then allowed to travel with her Father to his garage outside of town. It was an instant scene of love as she became engrossed with the concept of mechanics and grime. It fascinated her innocent mind, and she instantly took to studying it. So, now her life was filled with both her Mother's and Father's passions. This only brought more and more joy to the family that seemed to have every good point going for it.
Yet another good aura was added to the Twinstean family when Kate was due to turn fourteen within the year 2006. At the current age of thirteen, their family was blessed with a second child - Daniel Marcus Twinstean. Mostly known as Danny, this baby boy was the basic meaning behind the term "bouncing baby boy". He was constantly giggling and clapping his hands, crystal blue eyes an adoration. Kate was instantly in love - along side her proud parents. Now, the family was said to be complete.
Although their happiness grew, a terror struck them when Kate had finally reached the age of sixteen. Just after Daniel's second birthday in the month of March, Allison went on a small camping trip with some of her friends. This wasn't a big shock to the family, seeing as she'd often go on such trips. So, Kate waved her mother off with a grin and had returned to a cup of tea, re-reading her favored book of Alice in Wonderland to her little brother.
Expecting it to be their believed Allison at the door two days later, Roger answered with a grin. Although, it was Police that stood there instead. Kate had been arriving home from school at that point, only to notice the police cars parked outside their small yet sweet family home. The typical white picket fence was even set up outside it...yet, even this seemed dark upon this very day. Being the wonderful age of sixteen, Kate was given the whole truth of what was then known as her Mother's untimely death.
Apparently, there had been reports of brutal screams from multiple areas of the woods...nothing more informed. As police had went in search for this disruption, they'd came across a trail of blood. It all seemed like a rather pathetic horror movie. The police crept along the trail of blood like children on a scavenger hunt...and they found the prize - scattered along the woodland area of La Push Forest. Kate's mother had been torn limb from limb...her face the only thing intact, fear etched to it.
Such vile images scarred Kate for eternity, her constantly happy mood dimming to an eclipse. Daniel hadn't a clue to what had happened, but by not seeing his Mother he'd often cry. Prepared for such things, both Roger and Kate took it upon themselves to look after him to the extent he deserved. Yet, Kate was always curious to what had caused her Mother's death, and would often wander down to the scene many months after grieving.
Upon the new year in which Kate had finally turned seventeen, Roger decided to leave La Push behind - only to move just over the border to the midst of Forks. Kate didn't question for her Father's wishes, seeing as he was now an official widower. She didn't want to question his path of grieving, for everyone viewed their own opinions and ways. The house was much bigger than their previous one, only enhancing the empty feeling. Fortunately, Danny took an immediate love to this house hold, and made sure to fill it with excited cries and squeals as much as he possibly could. As soon as speech became an ability, even more noise was created.
It strangely lightened up the mood. Now, after nearly a year after her Mother's death, Kate is living life as she was previously. Determined to make her family perfect (and to achieve her goals), Kate constantly puts others before herself and often is there to help. Acting as a mother and a true young woman to the Twinstean family, Kate had took on the female adult role. After all, with her Mother dead, who would?
It is now, Kate continues her education in Forks and often works with her Father in his garage (when not looking after her brother who now attends kindergarten). Yet, despite all of her methods of pass times, she often wanders to La Push...
Either to just wander...or back to the forest her Mother was murdered in.
Sample RP:
Oceanic blue eyes gazed directly ahead at a small object that radiated heat. A heat so pure it sent the bearers heart aloft as her hands extended, prepared. Rose cheeks where accompanied below these deep set eyes, their gaze twinkling as the timer upon the metal contraption began to slow tick away...tick...tock...
Kate bite into her lower lip as she bounded around the kitchen, the timer being her motivated movement beat as she literally danced around the area happily. Her hands had managed to entangle within the curls she called her own, tieing them up into some sort of mess that she seemed to think approval. Nothing could phase her, and the small scent which left the metal contraption caused her heart to soar.
Catching her reflection in a near by metallic surface caused her to pause and spin, faintly conscious to what she was wearing upon this fine, sun filled day. Besides the simple t-shirt that literally lounged up to her knees, she proudly wore her skin legged jeans, sandals in tow. Her arms flung into the air as she continued to spin, more out of her plain bored nature.
It was then a quiet pop noise echoed out, causing her gaze to snap back to where the metal contraption (otherwise known as the toaster) lay. She stared, eyes widening in joy.
The poptart...
Multiple moments passed before Kate managed to latch onto the burning piece of pastry, her hands enclosing around the warm surface she had suddenly took a liking to over the previous week. She smiled and took a glance around the kitchen in which she now domains, the further silence seeming to echo out more louder than it could possibly! ...hello She called out, only to be greeted with silence. She smiled gently, content with this.
As she allowed herself to gaze out the window, she found a sudden attraction in the outside area. The sun bathed the small house in a luminous glow, the heat being formed from within it causing her to sigh out in a passion. The outside world looked so inviting...
Who was there to stop her? She was home alone, and had a half munched pop tart to accompany her. It wasn't a tough decision, and before she could truly decide on what to do, her feet had already begun to weave their way to wards the door, the pattern bee lined. Knocking her delicate hip to the door, she watched it swing open with a gentle squeak, her eyes finally colliding with the strong rays of the La Push area. She smiled wide, stepping outside slowly, glancing around.
What to do...what to do!
She shook her head, kicking the door shut behind her...still unaware she'd forgotten a certain set of keys. Instead of returning to fetch something of utter importance, Kate set off down the back pathway, using a similar hip bump motion to open the gate that led to the freedom of the world. As she placed the mouth watering assortment into her mouth, she finally set off along the path way, not really having any destination in mind.
One thing was for sure...the pop tart sure tasted amazing! Her satisfying murmurs and giggles where enough proof of that.
