It's been a hundred and fifty years since that fateful day when The Cullens and their witnesses faced the Volturi and got away, only losing one. A hundred and fifty years since anyone has heard from the Volturi, or even thought of them. Now, moving back to Forks, the worries of so long ago forgotten, the Cullens prepare themselves to mose back to a place where their lives really began.
Their new life story has been spread through-out the small town, people already gossiping about them before they even move into the large, vacent house a few miles from town. And at first, everything is fine. No one suspects who they are, they haven't had a run-in with any shapeshifters yet, and no problems have arisen.
But one morning, as they were preparing to hunt, Alice saw a vision. A vision of something they had feared to happen years before, but never happening. A vision of the Volturi attacking them. The vision only lasted seconds, before many views of how their futures could end up flashed in Alice's head.
No one moved, none of them uttered a thing, they just stared at each in other in horror. After all those years, the Volturi were finally coming to seek revenge. And because of the one flaw in Alice's power, they don't know when or where the Volturi will ttack them. So once again, the Cullens are gathering other vampires, except this time, not to witness, but to help them fight the Volturi and end their rein once and for all.
