Emily Young was happy just to escape all the demands on her life these days. The pack was growing, and with it the amount of work she had to do. It was rare when she actually managed to make an escape, so she was lucky to be here today. She loved the library. Its peace, and total quiet astounded her. A perfect place to escape to. She browsed the shelves, not really looking for a book, as she didn't have time to read these days, but just wandering, surviving, resting. If a book caught her eye, she wouldn't hesitate to check it out, though. Even if she wouldn't have time to finish it, which was likely.
An interesting looking book caught her eye, and she pulled it off the shelf, reading the description, then checking the page count. She grunted. Too long. Too time-consuming. She'd have to look for something shorter. She hated long books. They promised so much that she couldn't hold onto. Continuing off through the shelves, she sighed, contented. There was nowhere else to go, which was a rare feeling.
Finally, she found a book that was to her tastes, and short enough for her to read, too. She hefted it, feeling it's paltry weight. On her way to check it out a title jumped out off the shelves at her. "Werewolves and Where to Find Them". She snorted. The author had probably never seen a werewolf in their life, much less know where to find one. She pulled the book off the shelf and flipped the pages for a bit. All misinformation, as usual. Quickly, she replaced the book. She continued on her way, stopping at the front desk to check out her book, then on into the bright sun outside.
