He had no fucking right to say that. She gave him everything she had, she loved him entirely and gave her heart and soul to him just for it to be ripped away from her by her cousin.
Leah slammed out of her house, anger coursing through her, her limbs shaking violently. She squeezed her eyes shut tightly, willing herself to calm down enough not to phase, she wanted to be as far away from his thoughts as she could. She didn't want to hear Sam anymore, she didn't want to relive all the pain and hurt he'd caused her. It sickened her that she wasn't over him almost as much as it sickened him. She hated him for being such a douche to her, sure, you couldn't control imprinting, but he didn't have to constantly remind everyone of it, did he? Hell, Quil wasn't nearly as bad and he'd imprinted on Claire. More agony washed through her when she thought of the last thought she heard from Sam. I wish Leah didn't exist, I wish she would just get over it already.
She blinked back the tears that were threatening to fall from her eyes as her bare feet made contact with sand. She stopped, looking around. She found that she was at the beach. She hadn't had a goal when she left the house, she just wanted to get away from everyone.
Leah shoved her hands in the pockets of her very short jean shorts that showed off her killer legs perfectly and walked towards the water. She waded into the water to about her ankles, looking out over the calm water. Calm. She yearned for calm. She wished she wasn't a werewolf, she wish she wasn't going through menopause at eighteen. It was bullshit, in her opinion. Just because those stupid leeches had to protect that wretched human girl. That... that Bella. Leah's lip curled back in a snarl when she thought about how much Jacob loved her. It was almost as bad as Sam. Almost. At least Jacob hadn't imprinted on that leech-lover, she'd've mauled him if he did.
Leah wondered idly if there was someone out there for her, someone who was made for her and her alone. She really hoped so... she didn't know if she could stand being alone forever. Leah sighed and let her hands rest in her back pockets as she closed her eyes, tuning herself in with what was going on around her, willing herself to calm down which was why she didn't hear the footsteps behind her.
