Isabella Swan lived in Phoenix with her mother Renne, and her new step dad Phil. Phil traveled a lot looking for a coaching job for baseball. When Renne, and Phil decided to go to Jacksonville, Florida Bella choose to go move in with her dad, Charlie for a while. She knew that Renne was unhappy having to stay home with her. Although Fork's one of the rainiest places in the United States was a big difference from Phoenix where it only rained three or four times a year, she decided it was what was best. When Bella arrives in Forks her dad has already set up everything, and everyone in town has heard that she was coming. Charlie bought a truck off of Billy a old family friend, and his son Jacob who is only a few years younger then Bella fixed it up.
Charlie registered Bella to start school at Forks High School. When she arrived at school everyone had already been expecting her. Her first day was going by pretty good, and she had already met some new people. At lunch her attention was drawn to the group that was sitting in a table across the cafeteria from her. There was five of them, Jasper, Alice, Emmett, Rosalie, and Edward. All had chalky white skin ,and were inhumanly gorgeous. They were said to be the adopted children of Doctor Cullen, who worked at the Forks Hospital. The family all kept to themselves rarely speaking outside of their group. After lunch Bella had science, and when she walked into the door her attention was automatically drawn back to the bronze haired sitting at the lab table she was assigned to. She walked over sitting in the only empty seat in the classroom.
During the entire class Edward was tense his expression made her question her smell. He seemed to have the look of a person when a horrible stench was in the air. They didn't say a word during the only class which left her mind to wander why he hated her so much when he didn't even know her. When the bell rang he speed out before anyone else had the chance to get the materials together. The next day Bella planned on confronting him, demanding to know what his problem was, but he didn't show, and the next day.. Still a no show. She was beginning to guess that he had dropped out of school, since his family still sat at the same table everyday, nothing had changed only he wasn't there. Would Edward return? Would he talk to Bella?
